A day trip through authentic Balinese villages and some of the most picturesque parts of Bali, WakaLandCruise picks up guests in a Land Rover or Land Cruiser equipped with picnic basket and refreshment. The journey leads you away from the busy main roads onto peaceful and authentic village. First stop is witnessing sand stone carving made by local people done by hand at Belayu Village. Continue heading to Balinese Farm House where you can take part in making Balinese traditional cake “Laklak” and learning to make “Canang”. After a coffee breaks, take an optional 30 minutes soft trekking through the rice fields. Your adventure continues with a drive high into the mountains to reach Batukaru Temple, a unique sacred mountain sanctuary and royal temple of Tabanan dynasty to offer your handmade “Canang”. The next stop is for a sumptuous lunch, served in the Bamboo Forest Restaurant by WHM surrounded by giant bamboo in a rainforest, with free flow soft drinks, local wine, beer, tea and Balinese coffee. After lunch, you will visit the UNESCO-recognized rice terraces of Jatiluwih where you can feel the stunning expansive views of rice fields, followed by a visit to Kayu Putih the Ancient Giant Tree at Desa Batu.
